Our Story

Luna Health began when Dr. Zeng and Dr. Rahmani met at Sunnybrook Hospital. In practice, they saw how difficult it was for people to access psychotherapy that was both evidence-based and tailored to their needs. Too often, people were handed lists of private psychotherapy options with little guidance on who might be the right fit.

Both founders share a deep commitment to the role of sleep in mental health. Through her work in medical psychiatry, Dr. Zeng has seen how disrupted sleep can both reflect and intensify psychological and physical distress. Dr. Rahmani, through his fellowship and advanced training in sleep medicine, has focused his practice on understanding and treating sleep disorders. Their shared vision is why Luna Health places sleep at the centre of its work, recognizing that improving sleep is often a key step toward supporting mental health, resilience, and overall well-being.

At Luna, we believe healing starts with the right connection. We foster a trusted network of highly trained and experienced therapists, where people feel secure seeking care and providers feel confident referring. Together, we’re building a community where healing feels grounded, accessible, and lasting.

A brighter day one night at a time.
