We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 48 business hours before your appointment. This advance notice allows us to offer your slot to someone on our waitlist who’s eager for care.
If you cancel within 48 business hours or miss your session without notice, the full session fee will be billed. We recognize genuine emergencies happen, just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you without penalty.
Thank you for helping us keep wait times low and care accessible for everyone.

At Luna, all sessions are currently offered online, allowing you to access expert care from any location in Ontario.
In the meantime, if you’d like to see a psychiatrist/clinician in person, please contact your primary care provider to arrange a referral to another clinic.

Before your first intake assessment, you’ll receive an intake form and a consent form through Jane App by email. Please complete these in full so your provider has the information they need to support you. You’ll also be asked to review and agree to our service agreement.
To help you feel ready:
Complete your forms early – this saves time during your appointment.
Log in a few minutes early through Jane App to make sure your connection is working and you feel settled before the session begins.
Bring payment information. We do not offer direct billing, so please check your insurance coverage if you plan to submit a claim.
Think about your goals. What would you like to get out of your session?
Thank you for taking these steps, as being prepared helps us make the most of your time and ensure a smooth, focused session.

Our psychiatrists, who are also the founders of the service, aren’t offering individual psychiatric assessments or one‑to‑one CBT-I sessions at this time. Due to long waits for individual therapy, the psychiatrists are offering CBT-I only in a group format.
The good news is that your therapist is available for personalized CBT‑I assessment and treatment sessions, so you’ll still get focused, one‑to‑one support tailored to your needs.

A focused, one-time session to review your insomnia history and goals for group therapy.
An overview of how our group program works and what a typical meeting looks like.
A recommendation on whether group CBT-I is the right fit for you.
If you want to explore topics outside the scope of this assessment, such as medication adjustments or exploring other psychiatric concerns like depression or anxiety, we’ll recommend you speak with your primary care provider to arrange a full psychiatric consultation at another clinic.
